Need a USB stick speaker

Aereldor

I thought the speakers on my laptop were shot but it's far worse than that. The motherboard speaker connector is broken.

I need a speaker that I don't have to worry about carrying around. So if there's a USB stick that just has a little speaker on it, that's perfect. Any ideas?

A jbl go would be a good portable small speaker.

Tiny usb speakers exist but they are beyond terrible. Don't bother wasting money. Legit better spent on just fixing the board.

Really hesitant to try my hand at finding a new connector and resoldering it, it's right next to the battery connector too.

I already have a bunch of small and large bluetooth speakers, but I don't want to have to worry about carrying it around. My laptop always has a spare USB port, even a piece of shit tiny USB speaker would do me, I just need one plugged into the laptop.

You would still need to remember to remove it every time and take it with you as those things are NOT tiny. I mean this one is pretty decently reviewed: https://www.amazon.com/HONKYOB-Speaker-Computer-Multimedia-Notebook/dp/B07Y35B44C?th=1

Usb stick speakers exist but are so terrible it's a waste of money.

The difference in quality between a speaker on a USB stick and proper BT speaker is even more stark than the difference between on-board audio on a TV and Dolby 5.1.

Isn't there one the size of phone speakers?  Those are adequate and usually better than laptop speakers for some reason.  At least my OnePlus 7T Pro sounds better than my Thinkpad.
