Well you already done that, the results is left only,

just do it in mono so you heard sound on both left and right

well why the result is left only? is it because the interface is cheap and does not support stereo? when i listen through direct monitor i can hear stereo but why i can not record stereo on computer?

I don't think bcs it's cheap, I don't know about other Behringer stuff but my 2i2 2nd gen and solo 3rd gen also record on one side if i recall correctly

And to record true stereo you obviously need 2 microphone, you can "downsample" the the 'stereo' to mono and up it to stereo again in post but honestly might as well stick with mono

It supports stero,  the UMC22 is actually very good for studio work.  It may not be a Tascam but it should do very well regardless.  What software are you using?

This is where it becomes the most fun,  Duplicating your vocal track and play with effects and panning can give you some really awesome sounds.  If you want your vocals to have an edge I would definitely say never stick with mono.

Down sampling is just converting one bitrate sound file to another lower bitrate file.  It has nothing to do with making stereo images from a mono track.  This guy has some awesome tips and stuff on everything from vocals to instruments etc and explains it well:

I'm not familiar with audition ( I used audition 3 a little bit quite a few years ago),  I use reaper now.     You should be able to select if the track is stereo or mono and then assign each input on the UMC as left and right accordingly.   Failing that the other option is to make two tracks, assign input 1 to one track and input 2 to the other, then pan each track accordingly to get a stereo output.

If you are recording from a mic or from and instrument that is only mono and you want it to be stereo, then you can record onto one track as mono using only input 1 from the UMC, then duplicate that track so you then have a left and right track which you can pan as you desire and apply effects to to taste.

EDIT: I'll download audacity and see what it looks like in that.

Ok, just to clarify a bit, I'm using the word downsample bcs i can't find the word atm, by downsample i mean converting the stereo to mono (i should just use word 'convert) so yeah, hehe, sorry if that's cause a little bit of confusion 😅

Okay, so, like most interfaces the inputs are discrete meaning they are a single channel, in this case, input 1 (XLR) is left and input 2 (TRS) is right.
This is industry standard.
If you want it to be mono in an application that doesn't 1 - automatically downmix or 2 - support ASIO and as such records each channel as a distinct mono signal, you record it like you have where it is on the left side only and duplicate the track to the right side or set that L track to MONO.

Nothing is wrong, it's working exactly as designed.
