How often should you put new thermal paste on your gpu?

Just re-pasted my cpu the other month, figured I'd ask how often I should do the gpu?
MSI 1650 super ventus XS OC, kinda outdated I guess. Figured it's time!

replace the thermal paste is when you sell a rise in temps. some people never replace their thermal paste, some others replace it every 6 months.

For me never.

My GPUs only stay in gaming computers from 2 to 3 years. After that they either do productivity or sold.

 

I test with MSI Afterburner weekly so I am aware of any temperature changes.

 

I also have some older GPUs I keep for testing and they are a GTX 980, 980 ti, 1080, 1080 ti and a 2080 ti. All are cool as they were new without repasting.
