Your mouse may be fine, but it has issues.  It won't satisfy you like the 502, and that's really all life is about.

 

You need to trade your mouse in and get a sleeker, sexier, younger model.

I would. I've owned a G602 for 4 years and it's held up very well. These mice are quite well built.

Great mouse at that price. Only thing I dislike about it is that it can be a pain to clean all the crevices (and it's a bit gaudy, but that's subjective).

I can too neurotic to have a mouse that difficult to clean is the main thing for me. Though I mean, I do have it. It's just been superceded by a G603 with it's handy pop off top.
