is it worth upgrading the pump?

Hi,

I have cheap pump from EK 160 SPC with 250L\M and max pressure 2.2m.

Local store have EK Xres 140 D5 pump for cheap price with 1500L\H and max pressure 3.9m.

Will I notice a difference in CPU temp? I have 5800X. is it worth it?

I see big difference in max flow and pressure, but will that transform to noticeable temp drop?

which is more important, Pump or water block?

d5 pump is always better, do check if it's pwm or dial knob

afaik for pump upgrade the temp diff won't be as big as rad size or static pressure fans upgrade...

what's your existing cpu block? stress temps & voltage?

the block is is the classic block from EK (nothing fancy). stress test using AIDA 64 with PBO and voltage around 1.30v the temp sits in mid 70s with some spikes to high 70s, fans are set at around 1400rpm with 360mm rad.
