Upgraded rig

TheeShadowStorm

Had this rig for a year or so now but have upgraded pretty much everything at some point.

The 3070 Ti was just added today :)

The Aorus Elite B550 AX V2 motherboard is fairly recent as is the ID Cooling Frostflow 240 AIO.

The rest of the specs are as follows:

Corsair 270R Airflow case

Corsair 650W PSU

Ryzen 3600x

16GB Crucial Ballistix 3000mhz RAM

1TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe M.2

1TB sata SSD

Couple of Arctic PWM fans and a little tiny bit of unicorn vomit but not too much.

Peripherals are Logitech G613 keyboard and G305 Mouse

Jlab USB microphone

Hyper X headset

Power A wired xbox controller

MSI monitors

Odd choice of cpu, is it an upgrade or from your original build?

I suggest overclocking it abit for better performance, 3200mhz should be easily acheivable though pref overclock the ram to ~3733-3800

Well even though its prob uneccesary the ram will not be the sole white part connected to the mb, have you gotten better temps with it compared to your previous cooler?

Looks like a pretty nice build tbh, much better looking than my p5q on a cardboard box xD

Looks Really Nice!

I'm hoping to pick up a 3060ti soon to complete my build. Glad you where able to get a 30 series card!

Only thing I could see on your build that would make it a little better was it you could route the AIO cooler cable differently but overall it looks amazing!

I have the ram running at 3200 already I just forgot to mention it.

The 3600x was an upgrade from a 2600x and I've never had any reason to upgrade from the 3600x. The 5600x doesn't seem worth it to me since I already have 3600x. Perhaps I would consider a ryzen 7 next time

Thanks. The old gpu was a 2 fan 5700XT so the AIO hoses fitted perfectly, now this 3070ti is longer it touches the hoses.

Perhaps I'll top mount it

hmm I'm actually not sure about this setup. I think it needs more work.

I'll need to reintroduce at least one of my 24 inch monitors and I think I might need a double desk corner desk for completely separate gaming and work desk spaces

Thanks! The chair is so good, I didn't realise when I bought it it must be meant for larger people so it's actually super solid and super comfortable despite me being a totally average sized person.
