Asked and answered.  Just buy the RAM and enjoy your build, the 3600MHz is perfectly fine and a good choice.  OC is you want to or not, up to you.

I have chosen to go with b550 and cant decide between which motherboard to get. These are the two options that I am looking at.

Asus ROG Strix b550 Gaming Wifi: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-B550-F-Motherboard-Addressable/dp/B088VSTS9H/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3FKWU4UWQMZKI&dchild=1&keywords=b550-f&qid=1633988523&sprefix=b550%2Caps%2C268&sr=8-3

Asus Tuf Gaming b550 Plus Wifi: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-TUF-B550-PLUS-Motherboard-Addressable/dp/B08F9LP42S/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=b550+plus+wifi&qid=1633988556&sr=8-2

Are there any major differences between the both of them? Why should I pick one over the other?

Budget (including currency): 1500$ USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be using this primarily for gaming and schoolwork.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I want to be able to play Call of Duty Warzone on Medium to high settings at 120 frames per second.

Is there anything that I should change? Any suggestions? Please let me know 🙂

Ultimately the differences are really in the VRM design. If you are the type to do your build then just play games/use the PC, save the money and get that TUF board. If you link to know what your PC is doing, maybe want to play with PBO and care about getting the most our of your CPU, the STRIX is the better option.

The STRIX has diagnostic LED's which are helpful as well as a clear CMOS header.

BTW, I would suggest keeping all your questions about your build in one thread. I commented on the B550 thread then noticed this.
