Power Supply for 3080Ti FTW3

I have a new in box Seasonic Prime Titanium TX-850 that I planned on using in my 3080Ti FTW3 and 5800X or 12700K build, at least until reading about the issues Seasonic units have with higher-end Ampere cards.

It has a 12/2020 build date, but it doesn't seem like there is any concrete answer on when or even if a fix was implemented by Seasonic. I emailed them to ask about it, just out of curiosity, but they had nothing to say except that they would start an RMA if I needed it. I'm still in the return window for the TX-850, and the Corsair HX1000 is one I'm looking at if I go through with the return. I'd rather just keep the thing if it would work but it doesn't sound promising. Open to any advice or suggestions. I'm located in the U.S..

In my case it would be. Even if not shutdown, simply HX is better.
