Are these temps good enough?

I live in a tropical country where room temp is around 30 degrees celcius and my cpu idle is (45-55) celcius and under load it stays around (80-83) celcius is this too much or just fine?

Idle is a lil high but still doable given your current cooler.
Temp under load is also fine. I'd keep it under 80 but 85 is fine as well.

Looks to me current cooler is performing just at its limit. You could test this by adding/optimizing Case airflow to max. If temperatures fall then you have some more thermal Headroom to gain from that cooler. Otherwise you need a cooler change for better temps. Current Temperatures Look Fine as they are.

I have 34*C room temp right now. had similar temp values as yours. A Case change netted me -10*C and a cooler change gave me -5 to -7 over that. Currently low 40's/high 30s on idle and high 60s under load.

Max safe temp seems to be a matter of opinion between old and new schools of thought.  New school: yes.  Old school marginal at best.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

cpu or gpu?

if the cpu is at 80c underload while gaming its pretty bad

usually the cpu is at 50-60c while gaming

especially the 3600 since its a pretty cold cpu

Eh, if ambient is 30c, then load temps of 83c would be 53c over ambient.

If we're applying "conventional" logic of keep it in the 70s based off a 24c-ish ambient temp, then the same delta t would put it around 77 which is pretty close.

I wouldn't worry much about those temps if 83 is a synthetic test.

I think I saw my old 3600XT reboot at just over 100c. It did not approve of the message I sent.
