Hello everyone,

 

I want to portray about 10 pictures of rigs that exist on Linustechtips on my online store. But I need confirmation from users to use their pictures (I do not get paid for using it, I am just using it to give Trinidad and Tobago residents (where i live) a taste of the desktop modding industry).

I will also give full credits to the creators of those rigs.

I have placed pictures of a few of the most amazing rigs built by the members below:

- The pokemon kid (unconfirmed use)

- dOug (restricted use)

- jokrik (unconfirmed use)

- Snef (confirmed use)

- Rale (confirmed use)

- pzt (confirmed use)

 

Let me know (owners of the rigs) if I should remove it them. Also other members you can message me and let me know if you want your rig portrayed on the page.

You should probably ask Linus or slick if they could make en exception for you, as it seems that you care about the forum and its members and its a well thought out post

I'm not sure if I made it seem like I will be constantly using pictures/content from here but it is just about 10 pics of PC rigs I want to use as an example, that's it lol And also wanted to know if others want me to use their pictures also. I do care about the members cause I know it wasn't easy building those rigs so that's why I asked

Not sure that you have completely thought this through.  There are some big things that you need to consider like, import costs/taxes/duties, developing relationships with company's, buying in bulk to get a better deal.  Its not going to be easy.  But i wish you the best of luck man, I think everyone should have access to cheap computers and parts!

 

Its fine with me if you use some photos of my PC as an example of what can be done, or even taking ideas and doing them your own way.  I'd prefer you use a more current photo though(links below).  The one you've posted is how it looked before I did the rebuild on it.

There is a guy (in Trinidad) who can order the parts in bulk for me at cost price.

Yep it won't be easy but i like building pcs as a hobby lol I got a few PM's already.
