Maybe it will improve performance by a small margin but only in specific games that are designed to take advantage of that. The bottom line is usually : no it's not worth it. It's usually better to get one single better GPU like a 3080, 3080 Ti or 3090 than to stack two 3070.

Are you talking about SLI? If in gaming, not really in most newer titles. In other workloads, yes.

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |
GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.

Idk, maybe if you play a game that uses PhysX and you dedicate the card to PhysX. But honestly, I don't know how much it actually helps. And if you think of SLI, look at the above answers.

for gaming, no

3070 doesnt support SLI and DX12 multi gpu support in games is limited to... 2 titles i think

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

There were 6 games total as far as I remember but as of today only one game has kept it functional and that is ashes of the singularity. Aka the benchmark game.

You could probably mine while gaming though with 2 cards.

I'm willing to swim against the current.
