Didi pulled from app stores in China after suspension order

Summary

 

The Chinese Goverment has ordered app stores to remove Didi (a ride hailing app) and has made Didi stop new user registration. The CPC are doing this over "national security concerns" and said Didi need to do more to ensure safety of its users information.

My thoughts

I think that the Chinese goverment maybe doing this because of the IPO but there maybe actual data protection concerns so this might be a good thing.

You think the CCP is doing this because they are concerned about their citizens? Hahaha it's the opposite. They can't get the data so they need to put it on hold until they can get what they want. The CCP is not your friends

I disagree. This (would be considered an Injunction in the US) should be left to whatever judicial branches exist, so as to allow both sides (the government and the company) to argue their cases. 
 

The capability to halt business activity without some form of due process should not be looked upon kindly.
