AMD's  FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR).

 

So far, it is only available within the latest "Beta" AMD graphics card drivers...released a few hours ago.

Support for nVidia GPU support, you'll probably need to wait a bit longer.

FSR is for AMD GPUs and is baked into the driver.

 

For Nvidia, they would need to support it. They do not at the moment.

Will they though? Unlikely to happen anytime soon. Just like how it took them a while to finally add support for Freesync monitors, it will likely take them a while before they support FSR when they have DLSS.

I mean, they do support FreeSync, sort of. It just took them years, and then they insisted on calling it "G-Sync Compatible." 🙄

 

OP, it's not something you can download. It's a feature of AMD's newest drivers for their cards. You want to use it, get an AMD card. Not terribly likely Nvidia will support it any time in the foreseeable future, their competing feature is DLSS.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

@Oskarino, I think there may have been a miscommunication here.

 

FSR theoretically will work on Nvidia cards, but FSR working at all depends on it being implemented in the particular game. Just like DLSS with Nvidia, you can't just turn it on for every game you play. Right now the list of titles that support FSR (or DLSS for that matter) is pretty short. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
