Can’t Install windows please help .-.

Go to solution Solved by BetteBalterZen,

Try click on all the disks you see in the Windows installer window, and choose Delete on all of them.

Then you end up with 1 disk - on this, click new and follow the intructions - try to install on this one.

Just built my first pc ever and i cant seem install windows and im loosing hope already. Once i try to click on my disk it says “we couldn’t create a new partion or locate an existing one” so i did some research and tried troubleshooting and click shift +f10 to only mess it up even more and have another problem with not finding my “disk list “ this error says “disk or anything i put…” is not recognized as an internal or external command , operable program or batch “ i been working on this for hours and i’m about to give up so any help will be appreciated.

Download another iso, ive downloaded a few w7 ultimate isos and most of them didnt work but one did work, so im pretty sure that it might be a crappy iso or you didnt make the bootable usb correctly

Delete all the partitons and try again, If that doesn`t work try;-

Press Shift+F10

On The CMD Window Type "Diskpart" minus the quotes

Type:- List Disk

Select Disk X (X being the number of your drive)

Type:-  Clean

Type:- Exit

Then reboot the computer and the installation should succed

Will you try the solution that three people mentioned already? You ignored them, but replied to the one and only post that doesn't have anything to do with your problem.

You literally got the answer already multiple times. Have you tried their solution that is the actual solution here?

Delete all the partitions on disk 0 (this will lose all the data)

Then pick the UNPARTITIONED space and simply press next.

Let us know what happens.

Try installing windows 8.1, yes i hate w10 but this isnt an excuse for me to tell op to switch to w8.1 xD

This will rule out if w10 or the iso is causing the issue

what file system did you format your drive it while creating the installation media . If I`m not mistaken you need to format it as exfat file sytem if you want to use it for UEFI.

Please stop.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

What SSD you have NVME Or SATA? If you can`t get Windows installed then temprorairly install Linux on it and then install WoeUSB for making proper install media.
