I was raised in the heart of Kentucky and I still say Soda. Nobody around me calls it soda, or did when I was still there. I was always the weird kid that didn't know what a pop was. :P

I've lived in Kentucky my entire life. for 20+ years I called it Pop. Then I graduated college and remained in Lexington...I've started calling it Soda. I had an ex-girlfriend who called it Coke. I wanted to punch her in the face every time she said it because she very rarely drank a Coca-Cola.

(Also "Slang" is swedish for hose. As in garden hose. *The more you know.gif*
