You have an AMD motherboard and an Intel CPU.

That graphics card is useless as anything other than a display adapter. Which considering your CPU has no onboard graphics may be what you want, but I doubt it.

Power supply is pretty trash.

Please use PCPartpicker as it will at least save you from things like picking a motherboard and CPU that are incompatible. Will also make it easier for people to see your part choices without clicking a hundred links.

In addition to what middcore says, the ram you chose is trash as well.  You want at least 3000 Mhz ... for intel cpus 2666 or 3000 is fine, amd processors like higher frequency so 3200 or 3600 is recommended, but 3000 will work if you must save a dollar or two there.

That's a amd Mobo and Intel CPU.

Use pcpp to make a list.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I've merged your posts.

The AMD athlon 3000G has graphics built in to the CPU so you don't need the GT 710 graphics card. The GT 710 isn't good for gaming, it's basically just for officer computers. I would take the $75 you save from the GT 710 and put it towards a better CPU like the 3200G which also has inbuilt graphics. The graphics built in to the CPU are better than the GT 710.

The 3200G comes with a CPU cooler so that's another $25 you can save.

You don't need to spend $120 on a high end power supply for a budget system. You can save a bit of money there which can instead be put towards a 16GB (2x8GB) kit of memory.

Better and cheaper.

What is your question now?

The GT 710 is unnecessary, it won't perform any better than the integrated graphics on the Athlon 3000G and for the laughable $72 it costs you could switch the 3000G to a Ryzen 3200G.

A 750W PSU is ludicrously excessive for a system like this. Your peak power draw is probably under 150W.

You could also easily get away without the add-on cooler.

You already posted at least two threads with this list in New Builds & Planning and people told you all the things that are wrong with it there.

If you are asking what graphics card you should get instead of the GT 710's and entry-level Quadros you keep putting in your lists, then say so.

@i need help my guy

I saw your thread in general discussion before it unsurprisingly got locked. Your question is unclear. If you are asking what the function of a graphics card in a PC is, that's one thing. If you are asking if the graphics card is necessary in the part list you keep posting versions of, then the answer would be no, because you keep picking awful cards like the GT 710 and 8400 GS which are only intended to provide a display out on the most basic of systems and will perform worse than the integrated graphics on the 3000G CPU.

If you are asking for people to recommend graphics cards that aren't utterly worthless, then once again, I implore you to say so plainly. You can't expect people to put any effort into trying to help you when you put no effort into explaining what you want to know. The fact is though that if this $5-600 range is what you want to spend on the whole PC then in the current market no GPU worth having will be affordable, and you should shift money towards getting a better CPU with integrated graphics like the 3200G that me and another member already suggested.

You don’t need a graphics card. If your budget is $600, it’s better off using an iGPU. I suggest a Ryzen 5 2600 but then you’ll also need a AMD mobo. GT 710 is useless if your going for iGPU, I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with getting a GPU.

2600 has no integrated graphics.

Only Ryzen chips with model numbers ending in G (APU's) have onboard graphics.

In general though it's true that if that's the OP's budget in the current environment he should get an APU and then add a capable discrete graphics card later on when they are affordable.

Whoops, got mixed up. Thanks for remind me! I was thinking of Ryzen 5 2400G but wrote 2600 cause I was planning to buy it lol. Anyways, big ups to you mate. Thanks for helping!

2400G would be OK if you could find one at a bargain price but since it's still Zen, not even Zen+ (the APU's are one architecture revision behind what their model numbers suggest) I would generally rather have the 3200G or 3400G, since they can easily fit within his budget (although the 3400G is frequently sold out).

will a AMD athlon 3000G work well?

In all of your versions of this thread you've never explained what you actually want to do with the PC, you've just said you want a "decent" PC. That could mean very different things to different people.

Assuming this PC is intended for gaming, you should easily be able to find videos on YouTube showing the level of performance you can expect in games using the 3000G.

However, by making more sensible choices in certain areas that me and other members have already pointed out on your part list, you could upgrade from the 3000G to a Ryzen 3200G or 3400G (if you can find the 3400G at its normal retail price of around $150 - don't pay the $275 or so that it's being sold for on some sites) which will offer a significant bump in performance.

what i want to do with it is play minecraft run steamvr and stream on twitch

Minecraft should certainly be doable if you aren't running a bunch of insanely intensive texture packs and mods.

SteamVR and Twitch streaming are probably not going to be doable with any of the Ryzen APU's.
