How many languages can you speak?

BloodWithIce

I can speak Swedish (Live there), English (School), Spanish (4 years of compulsory school thingy), Danish (Danish heritage, I have a lot of family there), and some Norwegian (Had a Norwegian GF once, learned a bunch from that.)

So, basically 5 languages, but Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish are rather similar so I'm not sure if it counts.

Also, I'm trying to learn Russian at the moment, it's a cool language and rather challenging considering it's a new alphabet and all that.

English and Pidgin, the later is a language from Hawaii that is an odd combination of Chinese, Japanese, English, Hawaiian, Korean, Vietnamese, Portugueses and probably a few other things. This melting pot of language appeared during the sugar boom when plantation workers came from all over the world and needed a way to communicate.

Well, as I am from Pakistan, I can speak Urdu(native) and Hindi quite fluently. Along with some bits of Punjabi(native). Here in my country, if you heard people speaking English you would throw up. It's that bad. Only few can speak it nicely and I'm considered one of them.

So it makes four languages for meh!

Native German here, so.. German and English.

Also I'm very interested in Japanese, but I somewhat lack the motivation to learn it alone in my room, and since I can't afford to throw 200€ at people for teaching me for 2 hours.. heh.
