1st world problems. My GPU is too big. How would I find someone to trade me?

VioDuskar

I was able to win the newegg shuffle to get a gigabyte eagle 3080ti, but it's the biggest card of the 3 I put in for.
now O'm worried that it's not going to fit in my case. the SilverStone ML08-H.

does anyone know where I can find a trustworthy place to trade someone for a pure 2 slot card or a founder's edition card?

note, I'm not posting this in classifieds, because I don't want to sell or buy. I just want to trade 1 for 1

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

You can put trade posts in the forum classifieds. It's in the description for the section, and I've seen plenty of people do it before.

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

i looked at the dimensions and i think length and width are fine, but the 2.7 slot depth is my problem.
the width will only barely fit if i remove the brace that comes with the case.

if you insist on not getting a new case then try the shuffle again and throw the one you got on ebay, add a couple of bucks for your effort $500 is a nice round number. Why did you try to get a card you dont want in the shuffle?

I have won the shuffle a few times and every time i do i toss the card on ebay because the only one i want is a merc 319 6800XT but i keep winning NVidia crap. i only do about $200-$500 over what i paid so it sells quick and its not as high as the insane prices that some sell at.

because i'm not a scalper like you, and by the length and width the specs fit the case. the other 2 cards i entered for would have fit.
I didn't realize it wouldn't fit until i had already won it.
