I NEED any RTX! Game Developer.

So as the title states I am a game developer and I have been working for more than 3 years on new game engine. 

 

The only thing preventing me from finishing it is the fact that I can't test the Raytracing capabilities that the game engine has. I don't even know if it works!

 

I have a 1660 but it can't handle Raytracing, it's not compatible.

If this is the case then I'd say ray tracing should be the least of your concern and very much on the bottom of your todo list. If this is truly the only thing preventing you from finishing it, just drop it and finish the game/engine unless somehow ray tracing is absolutely core to it. Once it starts selling and you have some budget then you can focus on more eyecandy like ray tracing. The majority of gamers doesn't have an RTX GPU anyway, so it's not like you miss a huge audience by not including it.

I will take any RTX, 2060 and up.

This is just rediculus. I spent some much time and now the only thing stopping me from releasing it after years of perfecting it, is a damn gpu.

 

I am an independent developer, I have no budget. I can not afford to spend so much money on a gpu. I have a family to support during a pandemic.

 

Anyone got anything? 

 

I got so discouraged, I disconnected my PC and put it in my closet.

Nobody is gonna give you a GPU worth over $600 for free. Sorry.

1. I am not begging, I am not looking for free. I am looking for a used 2060 for a reasonable price. 

 

2. I developed a GAME ENGINE, for others to create games with.

 

3. I will not release product not fully tested to the public, would you?

Just put "RAY-TRACING, COMING SOON" Or something.

If your a dev and this is your job then you can eat a GPU as a business expense. From your post it looks like you are a kid trying to finesse a GPU for cheap.

No, it is a requirement. I developed something more advanced then Unity.
