Your highest in game FPS? Show it off!

MrTomnus

I want to see who can get the highest framerate in a game! Here are a few conditions:

-You MUST take a screenshot and link/upload it. Pics or it didn't happen!!

-You MUST run your game at 1080p.

-You MUST be playing a 3D game. 2D and 2.5D games don't count.

-For the sake of helping people with lower end cards to participate, you can turn all of your graphical settings down. Obviously don't forget to turn off Vsync!

-You ARE allowed to look at the sky in your screenshot. But it won't be as impressive if you do :P

-You MUST NOT take your screenshot in a loading screen, title screen, in game or pause menu.

Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility for the damage of any of your components due to overclocking, for the sake of making your e-penis look bigger on this thread :P

So here is my attempt, 1155 FPS playing Tomb Raider Legend. I am sure someone will beat it. That's hopefully what I want to see!

I knew it... I have none of those games either. I tried CS:GO but it was capped at 300 FPS for some reason :(

I think you can go well over 1000 with a decent PC and early Minecraft builds :D

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

doubt that

minecraft is java based it hard to run + its a heavy game compared to lets says CS1.5 which takes around 50mb to load vs minecraft which cant take up to 4GB

game has a built-in frame limiter:( there should be a way to disable it. the game is made by Valve so there is always built-in support for lots of basic stuff like that

Yeah I tried Minecraft too but funnily enough it wasn't as fast as this, I only got 300fps max. I blame Java :P

Why where you in this camara position in the first place OP? ;)

Type "fps_max "0" or "fps_max 9999999" and you are off to the races :P

I am surprised people have not gone on to Minecraft and put all settings to low :)

Dude,my laptop can't run Minecraft at lowest settings at 10fps!It's a very demanding game!

It is demanding when your hardware is low end. But modern desktop hardware can destroy it. My 660ti and i5 gets like 600-1k on high settings(vanilla) so I imagine low settings would be crazy.

My max fps was in TF2 at 650ish.

Have you tried ultra-low-res textures?
