If there is a gaming pc with an rtx 3090 then can you set a youtube video's resolution to 2160p?

You can do that with a lot less of a GPU. And it doesn't make a ton of difference unless you have 4K monitor to go with it.

Yeah, you dont need that. I can watch a 4k(20160p)60 video on a school issued chromebook with a celeron n4000 and 2gb lpddr4.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

It was in beta afaik, but i havent seen em beyond certain MKBHD video, atleast in the actual content level instead of just showreels.

And yes, its a PURE tough cookies to run without or with HW acceleration, i remember back in pascal days people with even SLI 1080 and a 7700K struggling to keep away the framerate drop in 8K youtube videos.

Not too familiar with that much, but it doesn't make sense that YouTube develop things that no one can use

This 8K60 HDR runs fine in Chrome with no CPU usage here... the 3080's video decoder is at 70% utilization though.
