cosmo 2 or 900d?

khandajatt

wondering which one would be better. keeping in mind possible future upgrades and the fact that i wont be upgrading my case for a solid 5yrs or so. My main factor as of right now is air flow since i will be starting off with air cooled system on this build. Also if there is anything better outside of these two options please let me know but remember the build is going to include an Extended MB ;) thanks

The Cosmos 2 and the 900D is going to make your system look TINY if you don't fill it up completely. If you really want one of those, I would get the 900D because it's more modern and has more features.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

I would go with either the Enthoo Primo or 900D.

If, IF! you have the hardware to fill them, the 900D has better Aesthetics I believe.

If you can't fill it, it'll look bad.

900D. The Cosmos II is big but doesn't actually have that much room inside. Plus, there is such a thing as too large and heavy. The 900D is basically none of that, and has a much cleaner look that I personally prefer.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

acrylic side panel is a mode which i would have to get separately and i would rather not do that. I am actually gonna water cool it once i have decided on what parts. My main concern about the 900D is the front intake since its closed up wouldn't that effect the intake of the fans?

My opinion 900d because the obsidian series has very high quality standards and reliability so it will last you a long while.

Have you considered the Enthoo Primo, it's $170 cheaper than the 900D here but is an excellent full tower.

dayum primo is a gud choice as well....well now the question is, since we already kicked cosmo out of the race, 900d or primo? both got great cable management options as far as i have seen. Primo is fully dust proof?? can anyone confirm this? A reivew of the case by hardware canucks stated that.

MAGNUM TX10 obviously.

Neither. The 900D is for people serious about liquid cooling and such, people who are going to fill that case to the absolute capacity - which I can guarantee you won't. The Cosmos II is an oversized POS that can't fit as much as you would think it could based on its appearance. If you want to spend a lot of money on a case, buy the Silverstone FT02 or NZXT Phantom 630. Full tower cases aren't as necessary as you think.

Keep your assumptions to yourself plz and thanks. OT: max rad i can use on 900d or primo? according to size i mean. Also i was reading up on push and pull configuration for fans. Which would be better for the long run, if i were to use noctua fans on a rad?
