I need a good budget gpu

JoeThePro

So recently I've been saving up for building a pc and I almost have the amount of money I need to buy the components. But I've been looking at the gpu market recently and everything is extremely overpriced. So how I would get a good gpu for a low price, any suggestions would be awesome. (btw I'm building a gaming pc if that's relevant or helpful )

Edit: my budget is like 250 bucks and below, I'm a poor teenager that's the best I can do

Edit: my grammar is the best I know stop telling me

That is going to be difficult as all GPU's are over their normal price right now.

If you can, look for a RX 570/580, 1050Ti/1060 (3G or 6G).

Else than that, I really do not know, only idea that falls on my mind is a GTX 970.

Don't ever buy a NEW gpu with that budget right now.

You'll endup with mediocre gpu like 1050 / ti, which is not worth it.

Get a used gpu like RX470/480/570/580 or gtx 1060 / 970.

4gb is not a problem, since 6/8gb will be very expensive to have.

Doesn’t everyone. The problem is there just aren’t any really good ways that don’t involve spending huge amounts of time or getting lucky atm.  Got to wait for chip production to catch up and etherium to pop up over the limit where it can’t be mined by GPUs.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I have not update these prices yet, but they should be close enough, kinda.

Sweet Jesus.

My little girl picked the wrong time to want to start gaming.  I've got a decent deal on a full rig minus the GPU, but it seems the GPU will be what keeps her from getting it.

Trust me, you're not the only one hurting at the moment.  Hold on to your cash and let the demand fall so prices can catch up.

If you want to scrape by for a bit and have a PSU that can handle them, then any of the first four GPUs + the GTX 780 and 770 4GB on the list should do fine for many games. The prices may not be the best, but it may be better value than paying $220 for a new GTX 1050 Ti.

That's extremely overpriced for an Rx 550,OP should not pay more than 100$ for a 550.

With that money you should go on the used market and look for an RX 570(twice as powerful) or gtx 960,gtx 770-780,GTX 1050 to etc ..
