RTX 3080 at somewhat normal price...

nnabat1000

So I’ve recently had the chance to buy an RTX 3080 FE for 900 dollars but I’ve been wondering if I should get it or just wait since it’s worth around 700. Especially with crypto prices falling I’ve been feeling like prices may go back to normal soon. So I want some peoples opinions on weather I should get it or not.

No one knows when "soon" will be.

If you need it, that's not a bad price.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

The price will not actually fall significantly until the crypto market actually crashes to the ground like it did in 2017. At that point the used market will resurface with plenty of cards. If you are desperate for a 3080, or the looks of the 3080 FE (it really is something special IMO), just get it now, it could easily be months before the crash. That the unpredictability of crypto and crypto mining.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.
