Greenish artifacts on my new monitor

Good day!

 

I got a ASUS TUF VG34VQl1B and i get some greenish artifacts in games when i move around (mostly with red colored things)

I added a video so you can see what i mean. Anyone an idea what causes this and how i can resolve this?

This could be a pretty extreme cause of pixel overshoot. I don't know exactly how it works on the inside, but it comes down to your monitor turning on/off certain subpixels, in the hope of 'cleaning up' the image to display the new frame.

Look in your monitor's menu for certain settings related to this and try turning them on/off to see if it makes a difference.

 

Look for:

- Different modes (gaming mode, photo editing mode, etc.)

- Overdrive/Trace Free (I thought Overdrive was the general name, but ASUS apparently uses 'trace free')
