Hey i recently just started OC'ing. As you can tell i've had to reset my CMOS a few times. But in order to do so i have to take off my GPU. So i was wondering if i plugged in a old fan cord i have that would fit. Remove the thrid wire. Then at the end of the cord attach a button that would clear ( hypothetically ) clear CMOS when said button is pressed. My JBAT1 is only 2 pins.

just wire your reset switch button on your case into the clear CMOS jumper.

I don’t see why that wouldn’t work, it’s the same idea behind how the power button works, you are just shorting two pins.

Thats really smart. I have a corsair c70 case so its not gonna get hit on accident.

You can thank Gamers Nexus for that as they highly recommend it.
