64 bit apps dont work on my 64 opperating system

When does it happen?

32bit programs run fine on 64bit operating system.

in battlefield 4 i cant change the graphics setting cuz it says its a 32 bit system

Also with crysis i have to run the 32 bit version in order to make it work.

Change this line:

GstRender.OverallGraphicsQuality 5

Most likely yours is set to 0 so change it to 5.

You are then able to change every graphics setting in 32bit

I'd imagine Crysis has a similar ini since its an EA title as well.

 

Honestly, given the specs of your system I'd stick with the X86 versions anyway.

fwiw, the 64-bit version of Crysis has always had issues since the Win Vista days and afaik it has never worked right or at all on Windows 10.

hey i dont know a lot about pc ( im a dumb guy) but i remember changing something on my system from 64 bits to 32 bits in order to make an app work and i dont remember what it was, and now im scared that thats the reason why games think im using a 32 bit opperating system. That worries me cuz im gonna have to reinstall windows to fix it.

Battlefield 4 has two executables, one for X86 and one for X64. Edit this setting in Origin > Battlefield 4 > Game Properties to make yours run at X64.
