Yes.  My PG27UQ's fan is the exact, same way.  My PC has 2 pumps and 27 fans.  And this panel makes way more noise.

In what world do you need 27 fans. I was going to say why do you need 2 pumps but you probably need a lot of tubing to get around that mammoth of a case that probably weighs like 80kg with a pc inside.

Too many compromises for me. Disappointing!

Still find it funny how the PG32UQ has HDMI 2.1 yet the PG32UQX doesn't.

If it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing.  And my cooling is over-done.  Three rads with push/pull (2 x 480, 1 x 540), and two pumps because of independent loops.  The case has a few extra fans to move air around inside it.

One is GSync ultimate while the other is just GSync compatible.  That's why.

The display briefly went on sale on Asus' website this morning and I was able to order one.  They've already nuked my credit card, but no estimate on shipping as of yet.  And within moments of me placing the order, they went back on "Sold Out".

If only I could get that lucky w/a new GPU order.  Heh.

What are the differences between the X32 and the PG32UQX monitors?

Is there any other similar alternative (high contrast, 4K, 120Hz, 1152 zones miniLED FALD) with HDMI 2.1?

That's the problem with IPS panels. Their low native contrast is basically an invatation for blooming. A miniLED backlight cannot fix this. That's why most FALD TV's use VA panels and the ones that still use IPS are also known to have blooming issues.

No there aren't in the monitor space.

If you have the space for it then get the LG C1 48". It's a much better display for under half the price.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
