The user had the same 2 badges

If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

yep it is repeating I checked and it’s on any page that the member has posted on.

Forum badges are manually issued by forum moderators. Looks like he was just given two badges for some reason, my guess is the person who issued it didn't realise they already had a badge when they issued it again. I'm assuming it was a mistake, but I don't actually know so I'm not going to fix it in case there is a reason why they're meant to have it twice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Looks like it now checks if the user already has that badge and won't let you issue the same badge multiple times again.

That means they are very old badges. Whaler hasn't been part of the moderation in years.

Hows that related to what I said? Badges are assigned once you go over certain threshold. They don't get removed. Those two badges were added by moderator who hasn't been moderator for several years. We have no tools to know when they were given, is it just actual duplicate or bug where removing one would remove both.

My OCD wants me to fix it, but given it's nearly six years old I have no other real motivation. As @Spotty said, we'll leave it and if they come back and start folding again we will update it accordingly.
