Ps5 cat 5 cable not connecting

I just got a ps5 and am trying to connect a standard cat 5 cable to the ethernet port. The cable will not go into the port. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen its like something is stuck in the port not letting it go in. I've tried multiple cables with no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

Is there anything in the port? Any pictures?

Port looks standard. Nothing abnormal based on looks. Don't have any pictures ATM. I've looked at it next to my ps4 and they look exactly the same.

Try another cable to rule out a mangled cable end. Also note that you should be using at minimum Cat 5e if not Cat 6 cable if you want a gigabit connection.
