@FTCDev, ROG Rig Reboot for this year is yet to be announced. We don't know when its going to be held, if its going to be held, and what restrictions to participation there are. Last year it was US/Canada only. Year before that there was just one slot for people outside of North America. And there are still some countries/regions restricted out of that because of local laws.

In any case, posting to forum is not the way to enter. You are supposed to make youtube video and apply with Gleam.io form.

Have you heard of the M1?

The M1 literary IS the most bang for buck laptop at $999

ehhhhhh, for officework yes, but for opening x86 stuff and playing minecraft at 60fps 1080p, not so much

look i can play normal minecraft at highter than 60fps but my refresh rate is only 60.1665748Hz so there is no use it is just wasting electricity and when i put like top rated shaders it drops to 8fps so i am using high performance shaders instead of shaders like SEUS and stuff.

First you wait for the contest announcement. It will have all the details. It's usually made in August/September.

Idk how rest of your post is relevant. It's still giveaway, they will pick three winners.

The other one just ended. You have quite the wait ahead of you. Especially at your age.

Rog rig reboot is a promotional thing that Linus does with Asus and the chances of you wining it are next to none.

What?

With over 27M reported cases so far 8.26% of the US population have tested positive for COVID-19.

5.59% of the UK population has tested positive.

UAE where the OP is from has had 3.3% of its population test positive.

2.15% of Canada's population have tested positive.

Even in Australia where there have been relatively few cases there's still 1.1% of the population who have tested positive.

Worldwide there has been 106M reported infections which is 1.38% of the world population.

It's a hell of a lot easier to give someone an viral infection than a high end gaming PC.

He's 12.

Look at the age demographics for infection. He's at the wrong end of the scale.

Hi! My name is Sanay and I am 12 yrs old. I wanted to participate in the 2021 ROG Rig Reboot because i have this junky toshiba Portege R930 laptop(which i upgraded to windows 10 and added an ssd instead of an hdd) with an intel HD Graphics 4000 and i really need better graphics to make my games and render 3D models so now i am only able to make low poly models when i make it high poly then it hangs and i have to reboot my laptop. When I play games like minecraft yeah it goes to about 100 fps but my graphics only supports 60 hertz so there is no point. but when i put like high performance shaders it drops to like 25 fps.

I do have experience building LAPTOPS but not PCs.

I would not really use shaders on an old laptop, install optifine and just deal with the boring old regular minecraft graphics.

YouTube's is 13yo. Same is mentioned in the Terms and conditions part of the entry form for last one https://gleam.io/cbeo9/asus-rog-rig-reboot-2020

And ofc being able to be in video or travel will require permission by legal guardian for those under 18yo.

afdter doing some online calculator math then we get this

3 : 3413 = 0.0008789920890711983 = 0.0008789920890711983 ⋅ 100% =0.08789920890711983%

0.08789920890711983% is not a lot

And this would be true, if it was a random dice roll. However, it is based off the video, and therefore increasing your chances isn't too hard if you are creative enough, so good luck kid.👍
