Tech-Friendly Backpack Round Up

LinusTech

Yes! Although like another user said, I could Google and spend tons of time looking for a bag that looks stylish and would hold everything I want, I'd rather watch a Linus video on it! Plus you could give tests on comfort, what it looks like filled completely up, try fitting a giant Alienware in them for posterity, ect.

I would love to see a review on the Oakley Kitchen Sink Backpacks. They have always looked really nice to me, and seem like they could hold a ton! Albeit, they are expensive but you are paying for a premium product. Here is a link for reference: http://www.oakley.com/products/kitchen-sink-backpack/92060A-001

I would like this actually. I take my Shine 3 to college every week, so I've been looking for a bag that will be good for that.

Monoprice.com has a very nice bag that I use. Water resistant, lots of compartments and sleeve for a 17 in laptop.

Here is the backpacks I already OWN

  • One Motorcycle backpack with a hard rubber shelling pads on the outside.. --- Free my uncle was going to give it away
  • One rainproof yellow backpack - Family got it for the camper, I inheritied it as I love collecting bags
  • Thinktink Retreospective 20 - 130.00 off of bhphoto (I paid for this one) it houses my camera equipment
  • One hiking backpack that I use for traveling, computer repair gear, and a whole lot of other things since it contains a giant compartment plus two mini compartments, a raincover that i can pull out to cover it up... As well as a place where i can hook rollerblads to when I need something to hold onto the rollerblades. -- Dunham sporting goods had it on sale for 60.00  when they were asking for 80.00 at another location.. i had told them i saw it for 60. so my godmother got it for me.. its been with me for close to 8 years now.
  • Targus XL Backpack Designed for 17 Inch Notebooks, Black with Blue Accents (TXL617)

Ill post the models of the rest of the ones i didnt provide later.

My advice is their newer model

Targus Drifter II Backpack Designed for 17-Inch Laptop TSB239US (Black/Gray)

Why would you spend so much on a backpack? When you can find good ones for a much lower price? What is the difference in the material of lets say the Targus 17inch bags which can fit everything versus these 100 dollar ones?

I've just got this one and I like it, a lot :)

It is not expencive but also good quality and Targus is a good brand.

TBB013EU-large.jpg

it can fit two notebooks and a bunch of books and stuff... also has a mouse pouch and no PVC branding so it is "eco-friendly". It is quite comfy and well padded.

Check out the other backpacks from targus, I think you should give them a shot.

Yes, please do one. I need a new bag for university and I'm not sure if an Everki is the best choice.

I recommend this pack.  Build quality is superb.  Anti-theft aspects.  Trusted name.  Free shipping to US and Canada with no minimum purchase.

Pricey, but worth it.
