Stock fans on the Corsair 275r airflow?

3 minutes ago, WoodenMarker said:

The bios version wouldn't explain much more than what's mentioned on the motherboard website. I'm not sure if and when non-K oc was removed so you'll have to try setting an oc to see if it works.

The NH-L9i should be plenty for cooling a stock 4690k. If you haven't tried undervolting, you should for lower power consumption and temps since there's no downside unless you undervolt so much that the system is unstable.

It might need lapped idk if it picked up the gash. Dent from the cpu to? Or thermal paste wtf

Some thermal paste is abrasive. It's probably fine. Thermal paste should fill the gaps.

That's probably because of the dense layout on an itx board. The cutout is mainly fit for atx boards.

Cinebench scores are a good way to tell if the cpu is legit.

Which fan? How's it misaligned?

If you mean that you're having issues accessing the front fan mounts, you need to remove the front panel for that. You can pull it off by grabbing the opening at the bottom.

Bent some of parts it was in the correct position that it wasn't going to hit them. Look like caps. Might be a smart idea to sell this cooler and get a raised one. Damaged 12v pin to. I can get it to fit but idk if about the mount pressure dont want to risk damage.

A better cooler wouldn't hurt but the NH-L9i shouldn't have any issues fitting. The cooler website doesn't list any potential issues on this motherboard and there aren't any issues mentioned here with the same combination: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/yf6scf

If you really want to replace the cooler anyway, some decent options include:

Gammaxx 400: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/w3c48d/deepcool-gammaxx-400-blue-7434-cfm-cpu-cooler-deepcool-gammaxx-400-blue

Not sure which cooler you're referring to. Did you mean the Hyper 212 RGB BE?

No, the i5-4690k won't fit in another socket. If you want more performance, the money is better put towards upgrading to a newer platform altogether.

I was joking im planning on upgrading after i graduate from school this year. Thats why im buying all the parts now. Also that was a link to the cooler i got. I did find a 1150 motherboard but its not worth wasting 200 usd on it. When new generation is around the corner.  Hopefully this cooler works. Also what about the rgb i don't even have a rgb header? My psu does but uh need molex. Dislike to much rgb anyway
