You can buy a foundry on Amazon. Works well enough to melt aluminium.

You can make one yourself, too.

 

Or you could just get a propane blowtorch and manually melt it in a safe container (a crucible for example...), since a normal torch can reach temperatures of 1100˚C, without adding extra oxygen or air or whatever else, just, the flame itself. Plenty enough for aluminium.

Get a crucible that can take the heat. Many people use fire extinguishers cut in half. For aluminum you can just use a standard fire pit no need for a foundry

Keep in mind that the can isn't pure aluminum - there is a plastic lining on the inside usually. Just make sure to take safety into consideration when melting the cans. You do not want to inhale fumes that could be potentially toxic.

You can make one yourself, too.

 

 

That tiny ass foundry for over 400 bucks is crazy you couldn't even fit 1 can in there you'd have to cut the can into strips or run it through a shredder before it would fit in that.

Making your own foundry is pretty easy and relatively cheap depending on how far into the woods you wanna go with your melting. if you only want to do it a few times then you can get away with a 5 gallon can and some concrete with a propane torch but its fun to melt stuff and you're gonna keep on wanting to melt things once you've started.

 

or for a cheaper ready to go option check out this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HS93HHQ/ its only 275 and the crucible is 4"x5" so you can fit a few crushed cans in there and easily add more as it melts till its full and ready to be dumped into ingots.
