If you want ease, you can get a NAS from the likes of Synology, QNap etc.

If you don't know what you need then you probably don't need it.

Why do you think you need servers for your YouTube channel? Servers for doing what?

How do you expect anyone here to know what you need unless you tell them? What do you intend to do with the servers, what will they be used for?

Looking at your name, a guru who doesn't even know how to ask good questions ain't much of a guru.

the hardware you need is mentioned in the videos, maybe check the description, and also what do you want to use the server for?

How much space do you need in tb?

Do you need multiple users?

Whats your budget?

What network speeds?

For just getting started, id just get a large hdd like 12tb and put it in your pc

Do you have a backup plan?

So, you don't need a server, you just need a NAS. Well, buy one. Like @CouRageRCmentioned, Synology, QNAP etc. sell perfectly good NASes.

Yes, NASes are for storing files on.

The resolution just means the file sizes are bigger. What you are looking for is a NAS which is network accessible storage. You keep all your video files on there and access them whenever you need them. But if you do not have tons of data, it will likely be more cost effective to just put a large hdd in your existing computer.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

I store 4k files in my Synology NAS too, the server type does not matter as long as you have a good enough NAS, even something like the DS920+ or higher with around 8 - 12 tb of storage

you dont need to start off with a petabyte, you can start off less and upgrade slowly

And I'll just repeat myself: get a NAS. They do sell really big NASes and you can extend them with extra drive-bays as well.

Look at e.g. https://www.synology.com/en-global/products/FS6400

That's a NAS with 24 drive-bays. That's a ton of drive-bays!

The same way you'd have connected a server: you plug it into your network.
