this is my code and there are occasionally "/n"s in rowLists

I dont want them to appear. Any idea how I can solve it?

When you enter multiline text into a variable like you do with a, it will also include any carriage-return and linefeed-characters there as well, so the most basic problem with your code is that it also adds any carriage-return and linefeed-characters it encounters to the list as well, instead of ignoring them.

Well thanks a lot! I also have to split it as columns and diagonally, are there simple methods for those also?
