microsoft has  more supported apps and it is too much to downloaded it but 1  linux os i will do anything for is kali linux

Anything that runs on windows and isnt native to Linux can still be run in Linux through Wine

it is still not possible to get linux on my laptop i am frighten of the risk

Restore? You don't restore, you reinstall if you need to. So at this point it sounds like the laptop is from school or something like that where you aren't in full control over it.
