Good low power Graphics card for HTPC???

I am putting together an PC for media mostly. Don't have a case picked out yet but I want something small like a Small form Factor or Mini ATX. I like Nvidia's built in H264 encoder so I was looking at the Asus 640GT because it is low profile and short.  Aslo the GTX 650, 650 ti and the GTX 750 ti because it is awesome for a card that only uses 75w.

750 or 750TI are great low power consumption/low heat output cards :)

750TI if needing performance, GT 640 or HD 7750 if needing low profile.

Unless you are trying to game, why even get a GPU? Only because I don't think much gaming can be done on something like a 640. If you want some gaming, 750ti, if you don't need gaming, integrated ;)

He may not be gaming now but with SteamOS coming out things might change ;)

There are those kind of old Radeon HD 6450 GPUs that have silent heat sinks on them that would work for just video playback. They would be terrible for gaming except for possibly In Home Streaming. It depends if you want any gaming or if you simply want 1080p video playback. If you want gaming the 750Ti is a great choice.
