Here are the details of the Mantle Low Level API and TrueAudio Patch:

The technology, AMD True Audio uses an integrated signal processor to provide developers the ability to add more channels and other effects. The support is limited to video cards with second generation GCN architecture, namely the Radeon HD 7790, R7 260, R7 260X, R9 290, R9 290X, and the integrated graphics part of the AMD A-Series “Kaveri”.

I hope we quickly see people with good audio setups reviewing TrueAudio to see if it is good and worth while.

Can't wait for the patch. Has anyone here freaked out because they heard someone from the other side of a wall that sounds like they are directly beside you? Shit be cray! Luckily, I realized that true audio wasn't even in yet, because I was about to trash talk them on their new tech. I really hope it delivers as many say it does . Now we play the waiting game.

did somebody try monitoring fps with fraps or rivatuner while using mantle in thief? neither of those work when I launch thief with mantle. I wonder if its just me or its because simply mantle is not d3d nor opengl. is there any way to monitor fps during gameplay?
