Sounds like they don’t really disagree but there is a definition of terms issue.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

A very long one.  My understanding is all tempered glass is fated to eventually shatter.

unless something causes it to shatter, no, tempered glass doesn't just shatter. The reason tempered glass is called tempered glass is because it is controlled in the manufacturing process both chemically and temperature wise to create a stronger product. Safety glass is safe in that it breaks into small pieces and has a "glaze" that keeps it together so when it breaks it doesnt turn into a ton of large pieces that will kill you, think of a car window breaking (they are made of safety glass)

safety glass is literally just a "safety glazed" piece of tempered glass.

Only the front is laminated safety glass. And the small pieces come from the tempering process. Tempered glass is also called safety glass, just of the unlaminated variety.

I love this thread, because this type of answer is the only viable one.

Serisously, don't Tweet, don't Insta, don't Pornhub it.... just pick up the phone and CALL the manufacturer.

Boggles me that this is the new rocket science.

U know its not that easy when u are in country where deepcool isn't officially in and retailers sell deepcool products. And then i cant even contact the the retailer because its lockdown and stores are closed. And the retailer wont have it definitely because its a little store. Having to buy new case because dog wont leave it alonr

Functionally Not having a side panel won’t actually hurt anything.  If you need to keep the case closed to keep the dog out you could put just about anything over it from a piece of wood to a cloth cover to just about anything else really.  It won’t be as pretty, but the glass panel is just a cover you can see through.   Cases didn’t even used to have glass panels.  There are many ways to make something that even looks the same if you want.  Not so cheap, but it can be done.

your dog ate your glass panel? this keeps getting better...!

But you have a point if the manufacturer *really* isn't present in your country its going to be difficult...

you can still contact them and ask about a replacement (best by phone because emails generally get ignored by many) they *could* send you a replacement, however it may not be worth it with shipping / customs etc - which you have to find out first obviously, in which case it may be better to get a new case or just make a DIY solution, should be easy enough to find something appropriate (doesn't need to be glass obviously) or you just leave it as is and live with a dusty, loud and unsecured pc for the time being!

Hello there,

You can contact our support team by placing a ticket at https://deepcool.com/support/index_ticket.shtml . Make sure you enter a location when submitting your ticket so you get forwarded to the proper regional team. If they can't sell or send parts to your country for whatever reason, they can at least provide you with the dimensions so you can possibly have a glass panel made from a local source to you.
