Red Ram in black system

TheJedi

Hey guys,

Looking to buy some ram for my upcoming build.

I found some Red Ram that's cheaper than the rest but I don't know how it will look in my system.

If any of you have red Ram in a more black system, could you kindly share some pictures so that I know how it looks

Much appreciated

Paint it/put electrical tape on it.

Also, what RAM is it?

Its 16gb DDR4 3200 but in England it goes for £70+ if going for black. I don't have any paint and I'd prefer not to

I couldn't get a pic of the exact thing you wanted but I think these are close enough

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I personally think it would look nice as an accent, with a splash of red in an otherwise dark system.

My RAM has black with red stripes on the sides and top and it looks nice.

This is really important to not mix too many colors in your pc. People who visit your house will be disgusted when they see your pc. Your wife will request a divorce, your dog becomes ill and the fish in the aquarium will keep you awake at night screaming. :)

But seriously, if this is your main problem, then open Photoshop or GIMP, and check yourself how it will looks like together. Maybe you can even find videos on youtube.

Thanks.

Only question I have is if the ram will restrict the colours I set my RGB to or will it look okay?

My case is the Phanteks P400A Digital black

If you don't like the look of the RAM in your system it's one of the easier items you can paint in a computer. Just take off the heat spreader, mask inside of it and hit it with a few coats from a rattle can.

CPU: Intel i7 - 5820k @ 4.5GHz, Cooler: Corsair H80i, Motherboard: MSI X99S Gaming 7, RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16,

GPU: ASUS GTX 980 Strix, Case: Corsair 900D, PSU: Corsair AX860i 860W, Keyboard: Logitech G19, Mouse: Corsair M95, Storage: Intel 730 Series 480GB SSD, WD 1.5TB Black

Display: BenQ XL2730Z 2560x1440 144Hz

After the initial day of the build, you'll forget about the color of the ram because of the joy of gaming on a new system.

Long story short, save the cash, get the red ram and don't sweat the small stuff.

This may be true, but also he may blame ram color for fails in games. Someone shoot him? It must be bad ram color! The car will catch a flat tire? That damn red color! :)
