I do not know how to open this heatsink to reapply thermal paste.

 This heatsink is as old as me.. So the elderly crowd please help me!!! Thanks and please...
AND sorry for the picture quality... I really want to fix this pc so i can play this game called road rash. Also if anyone of u have a windows 7 xp liscence that u do not require. please give it to me...

The levers just loosen the heat sink, you need a flat blade screwdriver to push out the clamps on the ends (where the heatsink meets the mobo connectors on all four corners), so it'll come off easily.

depends on the quality of the plastic after all this time. If it's degraded and become brittle, then it could snap. But it was designed to hold it in place, so it will be quite tight.

If it's been there for a very long time, the paste might act like glue.

Be very careful, twist it a bit side to side once you've removed the clips.

Model of the board is printed on it. You are luckty if you find any manuals for it. As for FP connectors, they are at bottom edge of the board. All your pictures are only showing top of the board, so can't really use thoe to point them.
