Any B450/X470 through B550/X570 motherboards are supported with a BIOS update. There are BIOS updates ready for B550/X570 now but B450/X570 BIOS updates will be ready supposedly Q1 2021. AMD Ryzen 4000 'Zen 3' CPUs Compatible With X570 & B550 Chipset

It's hard to recommend a motherboard when you have to factor in budget/wants/needs from one...most likely, you will want a B550 motherboard unless you want to go overkill with X570.

B550 and X570 boards run with them after BIOS update (which is why BIOS flashback is saught after), B450 and X470 will have to wait for BIOS updates due next year I think

Nope, the last chipset they've released is the B550 (or was it A520? ... Doesn't matter). Might be the last one for AM4 before they move to AM5 if I recall.
