Corsair iCue SP120 RGB PRO

Stahlmann

Are these good fans?

I can currently buy them on sale for about half the price. I don't care that they're only 3-pin non PWM fans as i can control them through my commander pro either way.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Yeah, they are. Most newer corsair fans are pretty good in terms of performance and noise.

They are, but since they use inner ring only rgb light, it won't be as smooth as an ll or ql

I actually prefer this type of lighting compared to the ring stuff on the LL or QL.

odd, I don't, especially the hd, since there is no proper light diffusion, and I hate the hotspots on sp, ml, and hd, but your preference

Yeah i don't like the look of the HD either. Like you said, no light diffusion. But the SP120 looks to be properly diffused and the whole rotor is illuminated evenly.

Also: I can buy a three pack of SP120's for the price of one LL/QL. :D I'll just try them out. If they're not good i'll let you know and send them back.

Yeah, but it would get darker on the outer edge, and between the 4 leds, so your choice, ans don't go with the phanteks halo, won't look as good

Yes, this is why i'm looking out for fans again. I've looked at some builds with the Halos and they look terrible imo. On black fans they don't really illuminate anything.

I'm just gonna try the SP120's out. From their product page they have 8 LEDs. The 4 LEDs are the main reason the ML series is not really good looking imo.

Thanks for your input!

Well, note they perform worse than ll or ql and louder than ml, wait your keeping it low, right, yeah, but ml is the quietest
