51 year old Noob Father needs GPU purchase advice Again for my daughters gaming PC.

 

GTX 1660 TI  for  $269.00 with a $30 rebate card.. Total: $239.00 with free shipping.

 

Is this a good Video Card and is it a good deal?

if the price difference is not much, get the RTX 2060. I have both GPU on my son's and my daughter's and performance difference at 1080p gaming is quite significant. however, in the case of 1660ti, good GPU for 1080p at high settings for at least another year.

I found a new one..!  a  GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER that went on sale for about 2 hours on New Egg for $228.91.

Tax and Shipping included.

Sorry, I'm pretty sure the GTX 1660 Ti deal is better than the GTX 1660 Super. In my country I can get a Zotac 1660 Super 6GB for about $170~ and a 1660Ti for about $200~. The GTX 1660 Ti is slightly better than the 1660 Super, so I highly suggest the 1660 Ti unless you can get a better deal for the 1660 Super by around $30 less.

Will you already purchased so be happy with what you got. But 2000 series cards are going to go down in price as the new nvidia and amd cards become available. I picked up a 3070 and returned an evga 2060 ko ultra at microcenter that i had for a week. I originally paid $330 for it and they discounted it to $280 and put it back on the shelf. $50 price drop is a good sign that they know those cards are going to have to be cheaper to compete with the new generation cards.
