Finally Upgrading, cant decide which X570.

Hope you all are doing well in these trying times. (hoping your families and yourselves are safe)

 

 

I am finally looking at upgrading my 4960x and was looking at a 5600x. (not a fan boy, just seems new, shiny and really good)  The problem is that I have no clue what board to choose.

I was considering the GB Aorus Master, but the looks of the extreme is making me want to choose that even though it most likely isnt worth it over the master.  What boards would you guys suggest ?

I will be looking to get the best clocks I can, I have a custom loop setup that will be repurposed when I upgrade. (GTR360 + GTS 240 + eisblock)

really no point in going past 200 bucks on a board for a 5600x. literally any b550 would be more than enough for overclocking it, and chances are that an x570 for you would just be paying more for less as b550s have better vrms at the same price points, for example the x570 aorus master versus the b550 aorus master. but any of the 150-200 dollar boards would be overkill even, lol

Avoid MSI x570 until they can figure out how to make Mystic Light to work as a standalone software.

I understand the board will be overkill ... But if you look at my current PC it's how I build, and I will definitely be upgrading to something bigger later.

The extreme is definitely overkill, that's why I also mentioned the master. Got nothing against B550, just not looking for a midrange board.

Currency conversion is a little rough, like 16 times the $ so its difficult to give a budget.  I have access to most mid to high end boards from Asus, Gigabyte, Asrock, MSI.

Which site should I use to get you a budget in your currency ?

Not the largest fan of MSI, been helping friends with their warranties (Mostly GPUs, but I just have a bad taste, which could be wrong, just is what it is, lol)

the b550 aorus master has the same vrms as the x570 aorus xtreme; 16 phases or something ridiculous (most of the b550/x570 8-12 phase solutions are more than capable of handling a 3950x/5950x, let alone 16). and its 280 usd, 3x m.2 slots, has a fancy backplate, all that high end stuff. handled my buddy's 3950x without a sweat
