B550 mobo Vrm temp..

Guys I watched videos on mobo vrm,
And I have a que..
Does vrm temp changes as external environment effect,
I live in a country where in summer temp goes around 35-45`C
Does It have effect on vrms...

Airflow and environment temperatures do affect VRM Temps. But if your case has good airflow it shouldn't be that different

yes. i nthe video the ambient was around 23c if i remember correclty. so in thwe summer you have 12-22c higher vrm temps.

Yes. The hotter your room is the hotter the system (including VRMs) will run. In the test results you posted it states that the measurements were taken at an ambient temperature of 21°C. If your ambient temperature is in the region of 35-45°C then you can expect your temperatures to be much higher.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

The temperature is listed in the picture ... 21c room temperature.

The room temperature affects things, as the temperature inside the case will also be a bit higher.

Keep in mind that the chips under the heatsinks are designed to work up to at least 125c, but for long term use it's recommended not to run at more than 95-100c

With your higher temperature, I'd expect 5-10 degrees more than those numbers.... it can be a bit more, a bit less ,depending on how many fans you'll have in the case, the case you use, the rpm of the fans etc basically it will depend on the airflow.

You'll be fine even with the motherboards that show 75c, but if you want something that will work even with 12-16 core processors without worries, aim for those that measure 60c or lower.
