God, I could think of so many types

 

Plasma arc

Radialstrahler (my new speakers use these and god theyre great) (only one company actually makes these afaik)

Planar Magnetic

Magnetostrictive

Thermoacoustic

Rotary woofer

Digital transducer (pretty much not used)

Bending wave

There's probably a few others I've missed but they're the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

BA drivers are actually very similar to Magnetostriction drivers, but I guess they're different enough.

 

I'll probably put together a post and plop it into my signature.

my  z5500 finaly gave up , so i gone to a store and was listening to those adam brand , but damn the s2v is  expansive .... but they sound great, beter than t7v

 

also for those xlr, do  i need a special dps for it ? bcuz it says balanced at xlr input and unbalanced at rca, witch means rca sounds bad right ?

 

also i watched a youtube vid, but adam recommer continue 8 hours of loud music to burn in.....

how would i do that ,

i mean i need to sleep to ,

and i can not run 8 hours loud music, i live in a flat
