Intel Whitebooks: upgradable, amazing, thunderbolt 3 laptops for cheap!

I've sorta got a 2 part'r here...

First things first, I'm surprised to find find very few references anywhere on the LTT Forums or otherwise about these intel whitebook gaming notebook's I've come across on newegg today

https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9siv0n6bb85313

They seem almost too good to be true: 144Hz display, BTX 1660 TI, i7-9750H, 32GB DDR4 RAM. all the ports you need, and (from all the spec options) seemingly very serviceable and upgradable... And for only $1,200.00 USD?!?!?!? Why is this so affordable, but with little to know news or coverage anywhere?

I can't believe there's no LTT video on this! (I checked floatplane and YouTube) Is this too good to be true? Or am I blindly missing some major red flags? The only review is on the one spec'd above, and it's 4/5 stars for minor some very minor cosmetic/fitment issues.

My other Question though, if this is somehow too good to be true, does anyone have a recommendation on a cheap windows laptop with minimum 32GB RAM and a thunderbolt 3 port?

I'm working double remotely for the next 3 weeks, and while I love my current 7 year old laptop (ASUS Q502L), it is incapable of running the software I need it to run for my job (Software Engineer, need to be able to debug with local DB running). I usually remote into my home desktop for work when I'm out of town. But I'll be across the country for the next 2 weeks, and if something were to happen and I can't remote into that system, I'll have no choice but to quickly order a laptop to work off of.

Edit:

some more of these whitebooks at other specs, including a 2070!

Edit 2:

Technically there is an LTT video on this, the review of the MAINGEAR Element looks to be the same laptop, with a MAINGEAR logo on it I think:

Holy shit there could be a mistake or something, cause that pricing is just crazy low.

You could just search laptops with thunderbolt 3,and look how much is it possible to upgrade the ram.

Its always cheaper to add your own ram then buy it directly fitted.

If there is no info on the site of how much maximum ram is supported, you can just google manual of given laptop.

Contact newegg and ask is that pricing right just in case and what is the deal with those laptops

The seller is bad, that's why it's cheap:

Based on the spec offerings across the line, it looks like there's 2 DDR4 SODIMM slots that support up to 2x32GB DDR4 (64GB total) memory.

I'll try to get in contact with Newegg about that. I've only seen these models 1 other place outside of newegg, and that was on a single listing on amazon for way more

Sadly, but sometimes it can actually happen that pricing is written wrong, and in some countries, and some sellers will respect the wrongly listed price and give it for the given price.

My friends friend, bought laptop (idk which one),starting price was like 2k,and he upgraded the hell out of it,and brought price almost double the given price, and something on that site didnt work and price stayed the same, and the seller respected the fault and still sold him the laptop.

The price is good enough though, that going through the effort of fully inspecting the device upon receiving it, and following return/replace policies until everything is right could be worth it.

(just not worth it if you get into a situation where you don't have time to go through that hassle)

Or if the poorly rated seller gives you the run around / ignores you altogether...
