RTX 3080 Shipment

When a retailer says they will be receiving a small shipment or a large shipment, what quantity do you think they are talking about in each case? I'm obviously interested as I'm in a queue for 3080's from a specific manufacturer.

Depends where you're located and which retailer 

 

In Canada, as a whole, we got about 100.

Ouch. I'm trying to get in the mind of this medium sized UK retailer. What he would consider small and large.

What UK retailer?

Also I would probably assume no more than 500 for the whole of the UK at the very, very most.

Scan, ebuyer and Overclockers will likely get more than anyone else.

got mine today... funny people call it a behemoth don´t think it is that big.. (i do like the 1080ti design better than the 3080)

 

no coilwhine sitting at my desk even at 500fps... 87% faster in rasterization than my 1080TI running silent bios (on the 3080) 1980mhz in silent mode 2130 mhz in gaming mode, have yet to touch anything.. have not been near powerlimit, and OC mode...

One retailer I know had a "big shipment! Yes they are in!!" and only got 4 cards.

I've already giving up hope I can get one near MSRP this year.

Let me get this right, some haven't been filled at all and others have been over supplied?!

You see customer orders for 59 and 93? They then received 111 and 100 respectfully.

 

As I guessed, Small means 10-20, medium is something like 50 and large is about 100.

I am from Denmark... ordered is the number ordered at asus as an example recieved is the number delivered underways is confirmed shipped by asus.. so they seem to ship what they have

The vendors ordered 500 of each though so that’s still undersupply.
